ZRO2 Nanoparticles Application

ZRO2 Nanoparticles application shows the following ones:


1) ZRO2 Nanoparticles sintered ceramic

Due to its good performance toughening, has become one of the major structural ceramics; in the study of nanocomposites, the nano Zirconium Oxide was used as the dispersion relative matrix to enhance the toughening, which has achieved significant results; stabilized zirconia nano as an ideal electrolyte has been widely used in solid oxide fuel cells.


2) Bio Ceramic Composite

ZRO2 Nanoparticles ceramic, burned out good permeability, high surface finish, is suitable for dental ceramics. Artificial bone is also the application field of nano zirconia. For hydroxyapatite bone implants produced by normal method, its strength and toughness are low, so it can not fully meet the application requirements. Currently the composite materials manufactured by nano-zirconia nano-hydroxyapatite, its strength and toughness ect., these overall performances can achieve even more than the corresponding properties of the dense bones. By adjusting the ZrO2 content, it can make the nano-composites for bone material with excellent biocompatibility.


3) Thermal Barrier Coating

Thermal barrier coatings provide heat insulation effect for high-temperature gas-cooled metal parts in critical state work. Nanoscale ZrO2 is used in thermal barrier coatings to exhibit outstanding performance, with very high thermal reflectivity, chemical stability, thermal shock resistance and adhesion to the substrate are superior to other materials. Specific applications include aerospace engine thermal barrier coating, submarines, ships and other diesel engine cylinder liner.


4) Structural Ceramics

Since nano-zirconia ceramics with high toughness, high flexural strength and high wear resistance, excellent thermal insulation properties, thermal expansion coefficient close to steel, etc., ZRO2 Nanoparticles is widely used in the field of structural ceramics. Part of typical products are: grinding media (grinding zirconium beads), nozzle, valve ball seat, zirconia mold, micro-fans axis, the optical fiber stub, optical fiber sleeve, drawing dies and cutting tools, wear-resistant tools, table case and strap, golf ball light rods and other wear-zero temperature devices.
