Gold Nanoparticles for Screen Printed Electrode

    Screen printed electrode is a new type of sensor. After the gold nanoparticles were deposited by electrochemical reduction and modified with ionic liquid, polyaniline nanotubes and chitosan at the screen-printed electrode, the reaction of hydrogen peroxide and phthalic diamine catalyzed by HRP was used as the amplification method to generate a more sensitive response in DNA detection.


    For example, ethanol biosensor based on nano-gold modified screen-printed electrode is to fix ethanol dehydrogenase on the screen-printed electrode by adsorption method and modify it with nano-gold, which greatly improves the current corresponding to the electrode and provides the sensitivity of the sensor.

    The optical-electronics properties of gold nanoparticles are being explored widely for use in high technology applications such as sensors probes, electronic-conductors, therapeutic agents, drug delivery in biological, medical applications and catalysis.
