                   Titanium Nitride Nanopowders Used on New Energy Saving Glass Coating


Titanium nitride nanopowders as coating, coating on the glass, TiN film thickness was prepared by 500 nm, having a NaCl type face-centered cubic structure and exhibits a preferred orientation (200) crystal face, a uniform grain size distribution of the film. Transmittance in the visible areais 60%, reflectivity is less than 10%.In the near-infrared light reflectivity is more than 40% TiN thin film resistor is 34.5 Ω, in accordance with the Drude theory can be calculated far infrared reflectance of the film of 71.5%, prepared as described in the TiN film to ensure sufficient light extraction conditions showed a good energy saving performance.

 

In order to seek more effective, easier to produce energy coated glass, the nano-scale TiN powder dispersed in the coating system, the formation of TiN thin film coatings used for energy-saving glass. The following reasons:

Controling the composition and structure of materials on the structural level of nano materials is conducive to give full potential performance of ceramic materials. In addition, because the particle size of ceramic material determines the microstructure and macroscopic properties of ceramic materials, if the particles of the powders are uniformly packed and the sintering shrinkage is uniform and the grain grows uniformly, then the smaller the particle size, the smaller the resulting defects, and the higher the strength of the prepared material, which may result in some unique performance that large particles do not have.   3.
