Applications:
Silver nanowires are mainly used for electrical conductivity
Compared with traditional macroscopic conductive materials, nanosilver wire materials have three distinct characteristics:
a. The resistance value is very low and has a very high conductivity;
b. The nanowire diameter has almost no obstruction to light, and has a high light transmittance;
c. The mesh-like conductive surface formed by stacking the nano-silver wires can be bent arbitrarily and can withstand tensile deformation in various dimensions and directions without affecting its electrical conductivity.
In addition, compared with other conductive materials, silver nanowires also have good antibacterial properties.
As an important part of nanotechnology, nanowires can be used to make ultra-small circuits.
Silver nanowires are considered to be the most likely material to replace traditional ITO transparent electrodes, providing the possibility to realize flexible and bendable LED displays, touch screens, etc., and a large number of studies have been applied to thin-film solar cells. In addition, due to the large aspect ratio effect of silver nanowires, it also has outstanding advantages in the application of conductive adhesives and thermally conductive adhesives.
