Application for Beta Silicon Carbide Powder:
1. Sintered powder
β-Sicin advanced structural ceramics , functional ceramics and advanced refractorymarket has a very broad application prospects. β-Sic ceramics sintered compactperformance play a good role , thereby increasing the overall performance ofsilicon carbide ceramic toughness and strength. Add β-Sic boron carbide ceramicproduct can be improved in toughness of the product while lowering thesintering temperature, so that the performance of boron carbide increases.
2 .Electronic Materials
As a semiconducting material, has good wearresistance, high temperature performance. High purity β-Sic can be made ofmonocrystalline silicon carbide wafer, its excellent electrical conductivity,thermal conductivity, making it the edge in military, aerospace, electronicsindustry to replace high- grade silicon and polycrystalline silicon electronics.With β-Sic do electronic packaging materials, heaters, heat exchangers, etc.having a high thermal shock resistance , good thermal conductivity, performancesubstantially superior to other materials.
3. Special coating
Since β-Sic has a diamond structure, theparticles were spherical, with ultra wear resistant, superconducting heat, lowthermal expansion coefficient, etc., so that it has a good application of thespecial coating. 4 .Polishing material
As a precision grinding and polishing material,β-Sic much higher than white corundum and α-Sic grinding efficiency, but alsocan significantly improve product quality finish. Β-Sic done abrasive paste, slurry,and ultra- high-precision emery cloth belt wear-resistant coating also has agood prospect.
5. High-grade special additives
