Why nano-nickel powder is suitable use for fuel cells:
1 For fuel cells, nano-nickel can replace precious metal platinum, which greatly reduces costs.
2 If the micron-sized nickel powder is replaced by nano-scale nickel powder, and an appropriate process is added, an electrode having a large surface area can be produced, so that the specific surface area of the nickel-hydrogen reaction is greatly increased, which makes the power of the nickel-hydrogen battery.In other words, if the nano nickel powder replaces the conventional nickel powder, the size and weight of the nickel hydrogen battery can be greatly reduced without changing the battery capacity.
