    Ceramic is a good insulator and not conductive material in general. Ceramic is made from oxides mainly; the outer electrons of the atom usually is attracted to the nucleus and are bounded to the surrounding atoms of the atom, then the electrons are not free to move. That makes the general oxide ceramic not conductive. However, by using the Tin oxide nano powder as the main component and mix with Sb2O3, CuO, ZnO, PbO, Fe2O3 and other components to make the ceramic electrode material.


    For SnO2 is the main component, adding Sb2O3, CuO, ZnO, PbO, Fe2O3 and other components of the electromagnetic flowmeter with ceramic electrode materials. The conductive ceramic is available to make in ordinary ceramic technology such as in the oxidizing atmosphere at 1300 ~ 1360 ℃ under firing. For the SnO2 conductive ceramic resist the erosion of various concentrations of strong acid, and with excellent conductivity in room temperature. If use of the SnO2 ceramic instead of the current platinum electrode, users could save a lot of platinum and greatly reduce costs. For the SnO2 ceramic is available to use as solar cell electrodes, and the general heating, corrosion-resistant heating and so on.
