Zirconium hydride powder application:

Zirconium hydride is a stable powder, under normal circumstances, air and water stable. It violently react with the oxidizing agent and a strong acid, it can be smoothly in the ignition combustion in vacuo 300 ℃ started to decompose at 500-700 ℃ completely decomposed. 
 
1. zirconium hydride in the industry for the fireworks, flux and ignition agent, used as a moderator in nuclear reactors, as a getter in vacuum tubes, and is also used in metal - ceramic sealing in. 
 
2. titanium hydride and  zirconium hydride has tons of generation and supply in industry, but mainly for military purposes. 
 
3. zirconium hydride as a new shield, moderator material, due to the high hydrogen content ZrHx and low density, space nuclear reactors as a neutron moderator material. Furthermore, the use of zirconium hydride temperatures up 550 ℃, higher reactor temperatures neutron leakage area, and better effect of neutron moderator material as used.
