1. As a polishing powder
Nano-cerium oxide is currently a commonly used abrasive for glass polishing and is widely used in precision glass processing.
2. Modified additives
The addition of nano-cerium oxide to ceramics can reduce the sintering temperature of the ceramics, inhibit the growth of the crystal lattice, improve the compactness of the ceramics, and increase the thermal stability and aging resistance of the polymer. As a silicone rubber additive, it can linearly improve the oil resistance and heat resistance of silicone rubber. As a lubricating oil additive, the lubricating oil has excellent anti-friction and anti-wear effects at room temperature and higher temperature.
3. Catalyst
Studies have found that nano-cerium oxide is an excellent catalyst for fuel cells. It is used as a co-catalyst in automobile exhaust gas purifiers.
