However the content of silicon carbide nano powder affect to the conductivity of material is opposite. When the content of  SiC nano particle increase the conductivity of the composite decreases. According to some study when the content of SiC particles is about 0.5% -3%, the wear rate of the composites decreases with the increase of SiC content. When the SiC content is more than 3%, the wear rate of the composites increased with the increase of the content of  SiC nano-particles. The abrasive wear and the friction coefficient decreased with the increase of the SiC content.
